DST is upon us, earlier than normal this year, as a result of the US Congress deciding to change when DST starts and ends every year.
There is a little impact on most computer users as a result of this change, however, nothing that really puts your data at risk.

Long Weekend
Us hanging out at "the beach". Yes, Charlie is humping my leg in the background *sigh*
You won't believe it, but she actually knocked that try over while climbing it!

Frozen over Kejimikujik Lake with sun band

Tranquil sunset shot looking towards the cove

Charlie Makes a Friend
Our Cottage through the woods.
Lisa and I just got back from a long weekend near Kejimikujik National Park. We stayed a the Mersey River Chalets (http://www.merseyriverchalets.com). There are a total of 6 chalets and several motel style rooms on the property. It is a 400 acre property that has several rivers and a lake within it. It's always a good sign for a wilderness weekend when you have to drive 2km into the forest just to get to the office! I know I wouldn't want to have to shovel that driveway!
The chalet was perfect - full kitchen supplies, wood stove, 2 bedrooms and a fold out futon in the main room.
However, even with all the good things I was a little bit nervous - no TV, no internet, no BlackBErry and no e-mail for 2.5 days! I twitched for about the first couple hours, but then I recovered and had a great time.
Charlie, our dog, also had a blast - he loved being off leash and chasing after bears. We had a great tour of Keji, and walked around 3 of the beaches and a couple of the campground area (no campers!).
All in all, a fabulous weekend, and we'll definitely be going back and sharing this beautiful location with our friends.
